KaiFonts for Windows

A little app that makes any font the font of your whole computer: menus, File Explorer, Settings, title bars. With "Everything" mode it swaps Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman and friends too, so most apps change as well.

  1. Make or download a font
    Anything you download here goes into your Downloads folder, and KaiFonts finds it there. Any .ttf or .otf from the internet works too.
  2. Open KaiFonts.exe
    Windows will ask "Do you want to allow this app to make changes?". Say yes: changing the system font needs it.
  3. Pick your font, press "Make this my computer's font"
    Then sign out and back in (or restart). Your computer is now in your font.
  4. Want it back to normal?
    Open KaiFonts and press Undo. Or double-click UNDO-KaiFonts.reg in C:\ProgramData\KaiFonts. Then sign out and in again.
Heads up: the app isn't from a big company, so Windows might say "Windows protected your PC". Click More info → Run anyway. Icons and emoji are never touched, and everything it changes is backed up first. Some apps (Chrome, games, Discord) draw their own fonts, so they might not change. Ask a grown-up first if it's not your computer!
